Yeah I like that list for a long secluded excursion but for LJ or any inshore fishing I would say its more water survival gear vs. first aid gear.

- Pliers
- Knife
- Whistle
- PFD
- Manual Pump
- Compass
- VHF and a backup (cell phone)
- Flashlight/Headlamp
- Extra batteries

Worst first aid emergency would probably be a stuck hook, the small bolt cutters may be your only solution there, or paddling back and dealing with it at shore!
