Man you got no idea how many YOU TUBE clips i watched lol. There is very little with S-14 in there. Also had never seen anyone post anything about using the rear hatch. Its almost why the rear hatch is there if no one uses it. Oh yea i got the milk crate and it dont realy fit in the back unless its way in the back of the kayak. I do like the way many people use the milk crate. Is there a small milk crate that would fit in there??

Here's some ideas from the man himself! Mr. Kiyo! Might get expensive though!

Try the container store at Fashion Valley for a better fitting Milk crate. They have square ones that will probably fit. The other thing to thing about for your live well or whatever is a soft cooler, or even so hard cooler and attach your rod holders to that.

Believe me if you watch Youtube about the Kayak Rigging, you can find things that will work if you want them to. Most of all rig your kayak to fit your abilities and/or what you want to do. If I tell you what I did with mine, that may not work for you, and so on. I have however seen things that people have done and copied or tweaked a little to fit my needs. This is the fun part of owning a Kayak.

I tell customers that that big ol bow hatch is like the trunk of your car, 9 out of 10 trips you never open it. There may come the day where you want to slip a big fish in there and there may come a day when stowing your rods for landing will be a good idea.

The rear hatch in my opinion makes for good unlikely items needed on the water. I usually set up the battery here, good place for emergency items/first aid and a drift shoot.

Thanks guys. I been looking at you tube and googled kayak rigging as well. For now i plan on a crate in the back ( office depot is close to my house) Add 3-4 rod holders in there for things. The rest of the things i were planning on keeping in the center hatch and the smaller side hatches. I like the idea of first aid kit in the back hatch.. What does everyone keep for first aid kit on a kayak??
As for the six pack and smokes it wont work for me as i dont smoke and dont drink lol..... Yea i know im going to die healthy man.
I need to practice openning the front hatch and closing it in the ocean.. Not crazy about the seal on it. I got an idea on how to make it better and would post pics after its done.. I guess im going to start taken pics of what i do as there arent many of S-14.
