I lived in north Carolina for a year. Loved that shallow water fishing.
Beach bum, reds are great fighters. They're explosively fast and have amazing stamina for a white meat fish. If you hook a decent one in just a couple feet of water they'll take off across the flats like as bone fish. They're often very aggressive and will bite live bait, cut bait, and lures from the surface to the bottom. I miss those things. Mike |

I was stationed in Ingleside TX, caught nice redfish, hope you have lots of mosquito spray!
