For those people who have spent $$$ on their kayak

I decided to put pool noodles in my hull & i also installed a floating bilge pump.

For the Bilge Pump installation i bought:

1 ) The bilge pump w/ a floating switch built in:

2) 90 degree though hull connector elbow:

3) Some 3m fast cure 4200, to keep the bilge pump in place

4) Used a 1" inch spade drill bit to make the hole through the kayak.
5)
I put a no return valve right after the pump so the water can not enter the kayak

6) 3/4 tubing to connect it all and some metal clamps

of course you will need a battery to connect it all .
How much is your kayak worth to you?

Can you afford to buy another outback, PA 12, PA 14, PA17?

Good preventive measures in case you start getting in water, in rough water. THe Bilge pump when connected straight to a battery should******* turn on by itself and start pumping out water.
