And how much longer would it take to troll some different gear for the better part of the trip? I know you can try to average a speed for the distance but that never really equates to what it really takes to do anything real. I've never made the voyage before but off the top of my head I can think of many variables that will determine the length of the trip and I'm sure I'm still missing some:
Wind
Current
Speed
Stops
Trolling
Duration of potential fight
Distance drifted off course from potential fight
Weight of loadout on kayak
Etc.
Hopefully we can get a boat to accompany us out there to take some of the load off kayaks. I would personally troll a big kroc spoon or a waxwing
