I've never made the voyage before but off the top of my head I can think of many variables that will determine the length of the trip and I'm sure I'm still missing some:
Wind
Current
Speed
Stops
Trolling
Duration of potential fight
Distance drifted off course from potential fight
Weight of loadout on kayak
Etc.
Hopefully we can get a boat to accompany us out there to take some of the load off kayaks. I would personally troll a big kroc spoon or a waxwing
