It's a juvenile black seabass!
Just kidding, but it could have been. I wouldn't keep a fish if I didn't know what species it was. ![]()

Wrasse are different fish altogether. As far as Kelpfish, personally I always just release them but I'm curious to know if they can be eaten?!
