Is the plan to carry camping gear on the yaks or is that being shipped or hauled by a support boat (assuming there is one).

This was on my list of things to do this year that never got marked off my list. I like September though.

This crossing is done by more people than you think. Best spot is Cabrillo. I have rented kayaks several times for people as support boats to people SWIMMING the 22 mile crossing. I like John's disclaimer.

Im sure there are a few of us who also own boats that will be willing to support.
