Just like Andy said, lights all along the coast for some time now and when I say 'some time' I mean as far back as the Oct 1st.

If there are many squid boats it follows that there is a large mass of squid out there.

Squid being the incredible eaters they are usually deplete the local area of all marine life.

The squid usually mean a few months of very depressed big game opportunities in the area.

I would just avoid the area completely.

Seriously,

Most people will often associate squid boats with a large number of squid which often get seen as a fish magnet/fish candy.

Fishing with or around these areas has been productive for many chasing Wsb, YT and Halis.

A few people will try to keep the presence of dozens of 60 foot vessels lit up like a Xmas tree a secret.

Tight lines.

Don't forget Thresher's, they hang around the areas also.
