Tried that. After carefully moving each part independently, I'm 100% positive its the pin hitting the inside of the set holes as the peddles are moved.

Yeah, mine are brand new, never have this problem with earlier models

Nope, not hitting the hull. The noise is stil there when the peddles are flippered outside of the water.
