I used a pvc threaded cupling, gooped to the hull, cut a pool noodle to foam fit the transducer, fill with water then screw the cap on to keep it in place. Works great.

I mount my using electrical putty inside the hull works great no glue. Look for video on utube. U can get electrical putty home depot for $ 3.00
