a guy from a surf fishing board got into them pretty heavy in the bay about a month ago from shore. there's a lot of unusual fish in that bay.

good job on lading it!

There are more BSB in the bay than you know. I have a buddy that catches them almost all the time.

As a kid fishing with my dad I remember catching a few of the little BSB when they are still red with back spots. I've seen a few decent sized BSB come out of San Quintin Bay. Mike

I would be thrilled to catch another one, if there are more lurking in the bay. Using 10 lb. line and medium gear, was more of a personal accomplishment. It's always gonna be a blast when a fish can tow me in my yak.
