wanted some info?

on cabrillo beach and dana point.
i have never fished either and was think on drifting fo some halis
i always fish newport but want some new fishing grounds.
any advice will help.

I don't fish for butts on purpose, but I know the river mouth at Doheny is a well know hot spot for the flatfish.

Between the rivermouth and jetty just outside the break is great, lately people have been pulling some big ones up by circling the bait barge.

Cabrillo if you get bored hit the old dock area up to the left as you paddle out by the fire station. I kill it everytime with a brown swimbait, lose a lot also there is tons of broken concrete under there.
