fred hall LBC

Going up to the Fred Hall today. Anyone gonna be up there???

Just wondering if anyone has any idea where there is close free parking? strapped for cash as it is and would rather save my 10 or 15 dollars for paid parking to use on the inside on something good. Going up a little early and going to start at the floating boat show before they open the doors to the main show.

There's street parking near by, it's just a walk from there.

well Fred Hall was pretty legit. Havent been in over a decade when i was about 12 and couldnt even really appreciate it. Wish i had a lot more money and i woulda came home with a lot more ish. Got some of those warbait weedless lead heads. Some big hammer swimbaits. Some stuff from the Baja Fish Gear booth.

I would suggest for anyone goin to hit up the Fish Taco mag stand. For the price of a year subscription($15) you get a goodie bag with free shirt, 30 off Dana Wharf 3/4, 2 $10 off 1/2 or 3/4 at Davey's Locker, free combo at Del Taco, some a few big hammer swim baits plus some other assorted freshwater tackle and power bait.

Anyway pretty rad. Lots of cool shit and good deals. Definitely get out there and check it out.

There was a lowrance, humminbird, eagle, and i think 1 more cant really remember. Didnt look to much as i wasnt in the market(not enough money). I know as i was passing buy they had the eagle cuda 300 for like 69.99. But like i said thats the only one that popped out at me as i wasnt really in the market.

Baja Fish Gear had some good deals...i would suggest for anyone going to double check the bloodydecks fred hall specials thread. Several vendors posted up there specials. Didnt happen to pass any scotty booth but i know OEX and i think i noticed a Southwind kayak area. They may have had some. Walked the majority of the isles but since i was pretty strapped for cash i kind of got what i wanted and didnt spend to much time at any other booths. Plus i wanted to get back to catch the second half of the lakers unfortunately blowing it against the heat....again. Anyway check it out, good luck.

we went friday night. Kids collected tons of stickers. Andy set me up with a new NRS pfd, and a new AT paddle, he also gave my boy a bottle of water but for some reason he didn't have any popcorn? My wife also decided to get me a hobie tee shirt. Later that night I came across a daiwa ld 2speed 30 size, that a guy made me an offer my wife couldn't refuse. All in all a good show, I wanted to go out today or tomorrow but the boss said no, hay you win some you lose some, this time I think it's a tie.

Was there yesterday. Andy (OEX Sunset Beach) has his booth there, in about the same place as previous years; he has a very nice spread of new yaks. I stopped by his booth, and Andy hooked me up with a few killer deals. If your going to the show, and need accessories, or a new yak, boys, now is the time to stop by the OEX booth.

Andy, again, thanks!
