New racks for my TI
Buyers remorse - YES! Would I recommend a TI - NO, at least not for fishing! I plan on making every attempt to work the kinks out and look at the best options with add-on's to make the TI a 'somewhat' fishing yak, but honestly, I can't imagine ever using this in LJ!

If you build it they will come
Just a little getting use to and you will be fishing lj with it. Native islanders do it from canoes with outriggers all the time. I'll gladly go out with you of the weight capacity permits!

I am curious. Is your dissatisfaction with the TI as a fishing platform due to the tandem design, that the thing is big and the pontoons get in the way or for some other reason?

Don't get me wrong, the TI is a cool set up, and yes, the boys from the islands use them, a lot. I am just a bit frustrated right now. I am not ready to toss the towel in yet, unless of course the right offer comes in...I have reached out to Yakass in Australia hoping to get some good advice on how they rig 'em up down there, so we shall see!!!! Stay tuned, someone might get a really good deal on a 2010 Adventure TI!

Wahoo... that post of the guys at catalina got me a little excited too....in fact couldn't stop dreaming of my sailing adventure on the high seas. Thank God I don't have cash like you do or we would both be selling them at the same time.

Yes, I almost bought one, too. Glad I didn't but I don't blame Roger for buying one. It looked promising at first but after being on one a couple times now I agree with Roger. It is too big to fish from and the sail would get in the way.
