NO Fish...

Launched from the USCG station ( very hard pulling a Pro Angler)
Bait barg....bait only
small spottys,
maybe because there was no current..peak high tide...but it was nice out...

We went out of the USCG after work last week. Took two of us to carry my PA down to the water...what a pain in the ass! I don't know how you rolled it out there. Even the Revo sunk in the sand! I wish they would hurry up with the repairs. I heard the new docks will be in after the first of the year!

Hope they are able to put in a concrete walk way...that would make life alot easier....think next time I will launch from the Kayak rental place...it only 15 min away from the bait barge...

Try the north end of the wedge at newport. pretty productive between peirs and the wedge

my buddy and i went out to dana a couple of weeks ago. nothing for us. the water temp was 55*, lots of people said that it was too cold for anything to bite. it was our first time.

Newport Back Bay

Thought I'd give it a try today, hearing that there has been some action in the back bay. Launched at about 4 pm and got out about 7.30 pm.

Landed a 16" spottie, while trolling Lucky Craft Flash Minnow 110 Candy Sardine.

Like everyone else, past few trips to NPH and the kelp bed outside was NADA. Water was too cold, I think.
