Increase in GW population? Wonder why...
http://www.grindtv.com/outdoor/blog/...cientist+says/
"According to the most recent National Marine Fisheries Service estimate, there are at least 238,000 sea lions in U.S. waters, the majority of which reside off southern California." Wonder why...after all, Children's Pool is exclusive to seals only, sure hope those big bad dogs aren't crashing there. Someone needs to drift a chum bucket in front of the friends of seals hangout... Never, ever, bury a whale carcass in the sand, the dogs will always find their bones eventually...

All three. And a freediver...
When I dive for abs in Mendocino, if you see a seal fly behind you to cove sanctuary, you know whose pool you're swimming in...

and to think some people still believe that GW's arent territorial. There have been sightings for years now in that same area, as Tman pointed out ever since they burried the whale. No doubt that little guy has been learning the ropes and getting fat on the that are plentiful just outside of where the video was taken.

Seems like the little guys come into San O on a regular basis. I remember a few years ago some of the surfers knew them by name they were there so often that year.

From BD
Two great white sharks swimming in the ocean spied survivors of a sunken ship. "Follow me son" the father shark said to the son shark and they swam to the mass of people. "First we swim around them a few times with just the tip of our fins showing." And they did."Well done, son! Now we swim around them a few times with all of our fins showing." And they did. "Now we eat everybody." And they did. When they were both gorged, the son asked,"Dad, why didn't we just eat them all at first? Why did we swim around and around them?" His wise father replied, "Because they taste better without the shit inside!"

I fish just north of there, off Capo Beach, and seeing that video makes me wonder how many times a baby GW was shadowing me while I was fishing? Lot of small T-sharks, dogfish, and sandbass in the area for them to feed on.
