Welcome, I'm new to the sport also. My only delay has been I had arm surgery after my first Kayak outing. Some now I have to wait until the DR. clears me to get back out. Once I do I'll let you know when we're heading out and where. It's always nice to have more in the world of Kayak fishing.

Go out at LJ during the day just for fun with no gear and just paddle. Scout it out on your own terms. Go out past the point though the kelp. It will give you a taste of what to expect. Have fun.
