Gary Kawakami.... lost at sea?

Someone found a kayak adrift in the Malibu area and the rods on it have the name Gary Kawakami on them (wrapped by Yo's).

He can call 310-925-1184 to claim his yak and gear.

Hope he's OK..

Jim

Since this is not April 1st, I'm going to say WOW, I hope there is a happy ending to this.

Thanks for that..

I just got sent the story in email since I fish the Malibu area.

Alex Masumoto is such a class act, for getting this out there, and finding the owner.

What a story... I can't believe the found the Yak 26 miles offshore with all the gear intact, then to return it is even more amazing.

Glad he's OK and got his gear back.

Shows you how stable a yak can be - ha.
Good thing he is ok - and good to read about the effort others put it to help those who need it.
