What Knot do you use?

I always like to see new knots and try them but I love the good old, "What knot do you use for splicing Braid to Floro or Mono?"

I have used both Uni-Uni and the Albright. If tied correctly I think both are pretty equal in holding strength. I just recently learned an improved Albright knot and can't wait to try it out. It's tied about the sames as the original but just as you are getting to the other end you make about 5 wraps around the main line before pulling tight.

looks good, but I use many more turns in the first part, say 30 or so.It really makes a difference.I have tested 40# P-Line and got a 45# knot break strength.
