Site 120 will be where Corey and I will be swimming with lots of beers and a bottly of Pisco! It's gonna be too cold for our biatches, so there will be plenty of squatter space.

I'll be fishing the thing but I'm having second thoughts on camping in the rain sans biatches. Don't want to start having those baja flashbacks with the weird noises coming from Chris' tent.

It looks like kurt will be joining us at site 120, so if you can't smell the pacificos just listen for the cowbell.

Water temp is down to 55 degees in OC, could someone please sacrifice a virgin or something to the fishing gods to salvage this weekend? See you up there, wet and cold. Dave

Steveoso,
If you had any type of surgery, especially if you have any hardware, you really don't want to get it wet. Even if you have stitches. Some infections can get pretty knarly. Just a thought gabe

Thanks Gabe
No surgery yet. Broke a bone and tore ligaments. First they needed to set the bone before they could touch the ligaments... surgery in 3 wks probably. After that I can pretty much bet that it is going to be WFO YT havok in LJ, probably all up the coastline, because that is when I wont be able to get out there :? Still see you guys on saturday. Ill be the one that will smell like warm and cozy bed with a hot coffee in my hand. And then Ill be cold and wet with the rest of you 8) 8) |

Doheny
Steveooo,
Doheny is a surf launch, but usually extremely tame. The biggest wave we've seen was maybe a 2-footer at the launch, which is right next to the jetty. It may be somewhat bigger with the current weather predictions, though.

I'll offer a warm dry bed in my RV at Doheny campground to someone who could haul my kayak from La Jolla up there and back. I was going to haul it on top of my wife's van but the rest of the family is staying home now. I only have room for one person unless a second person wants to sleep on the floor. hornback@san.rr.com
