Big thanks to our kayakfishing brothers

You have made a huge difference and you have the respect of all spearos in this MLPA fight.

More specifically, you have the admiration of this one spearo.

Thank you for the energy and tireless attendance.

I've been involved with this process for a long time as a spearo and I will say, unequivocally, that the maps would look very different AND MUCH WORSE FOR ALL CONSUMPTIVES if the fishing public did not speak up.

More specifically, the map for LJ and other areas would likely be all red if it weren't for the kayakfishermen.

We're very glad to be working with you guys.

Kudos.

Joe is not the only spearo that is eternally grateful to the kayak fishing community for all of the help you have brought to the table in fighting this process. You all have my undying respect and gratitude. When all of this mess is over and done with we all need to get together and fish or have a combo of fishing and diving. At the very least we need to get together and thank each other personally for all of the help both sides have brought to the table in fighting this act.

Thanks to the spearo's too. You guys got us off our ass and motivated. I just wish we had gotten into the game sooner.

Definitely a great team effort going on by a small constituency.

NO! It means we are well placed for the final round. Because the 5-person committee that will make the final plan can do anything they like, we have to continue our efforts. In fact, we should ramp things up. We need new faces, we need numbers, or this time next year, LJ may be a no-go zone. Let's not waste our earlier work - let's get after it Oct 20-22 at that BRTF meeting in Long Beach.
