We have partnered up with the Carlsbad Stand-Up Paddleboard Club to bring kayakers to their great location on Agua Hedionda Lagoon. All the kayaks in the rental fleet have fishing rod holders for those who would like to take advantage of the lagoon's great fishing. Among the rental fleet are a few Hobie Mirage kayaks - the Outfitter 2 person tandem and the Outback single fishing kayak. More Hobie Mirage models will be available soon! Dear Customer, The big daddy of San Diego kayak fishing tournaments is upon us & we've got a special night planned to tell you all about the Steve Moyer Memorial Tourney. This kayak fishing tradition is celebrating it's 7th year and will once again descend upon the unsuspecting sand bass off Shelter Island. Sponsored by OEX Kayak Fishing Shops this year will feature catering from Chipotle Mexican Grill immediately following the final weigh-in. 1st prize will be a $1,500 voucher towards the purchase of any kayak, including accessories and rigging, in any of the OEX locations. This event typically draws 150 anglers and is the finale' of the Tournament Trail for 2009.
