5/8 LB Breakwall
Warm sun, cool breeze, some fog, water ok but really green Got under way @ 0730. Made my way to the inlet. E-SE winds picked up and with it lots of rollers coming in. Seemed like it took forever to get to the breakwall Couldn't make a decent headway even with the peddles. Started trolling a rapala and a kroc Caught and released a Calico DFG came up on me in their RHIB boat checking licenses 2 - man team real nice and professional , asked about any catches told about the Calico THey said they've only seen tomcods today Action was real slow Made it past the Catalina Express corridor to the second section of the breakwall Immediately on section 2 of the breakwall got bit by a huge MAC and sent back down por nada Never made it to the bend Decided to take a short cut back and landed at Claremont Catamaran launch rather than going ALL around again Knees seemed like they were taking a beating today Landed @ 2 pm Logged around 11.5 mi
