comments on used Tarpon 120
I came across a used Tarpon 120 04/05 for $550.00. It comes with everything but a fish finder (even the rods). I would appreciate any and all feedback on buying it. 185lb 5'7" I'm trying to stay in the $600.00 range and other than all the knowledge on the forum this sounded good to me. Thanks Last edited by warrior; 04-26-2009 at 11:22 AM. Reason: add pic |

Depending on your height/weight, seems like a smokin' deal to me...
As long as you don't outweigh the yak's capacity... If I had the $ I'd buy it...

Tarpon
Thanks TMan
So no issues with this model I should be concerned about, or any reasons I should wait to see what else comes up? I have all the rods I need so I could probably make a couple of bucks on those too |

it was thrashed
After several conversations and being told it only had the normal scrapes on the bottom, this thing was thrashed. There were drill holes everywhere and it generally wasn't taken care of. I wasted 3 hours of driving time back and forth.
I new for the money it was going to be used, I just didn't expect abused. Needless to say I'm still in the market and I'm getting antsy to fish |

Prowlers are great boats, I paddled one in east cape, and was impressed.
