Very cool hands free and waterproof camera

I saw this yesterday at Adventure 16 in Solana Beach. The girl working there uses one for white water kayaking. What a great idea for fishing too. It can be mounted on the yak, or better, worn as a headband.

It takes still and up to 2 hours of video. And it is less than $150

It's an awesome camera. I've used it during scuba and plan to mount a couple for kayak. One thing to note is that it does not support 4GB cards yet, so you can get about 1 hour of video. Also don't bother using the camera in low light situations.

I prefer the wide angle version. It's a super camera for the price, easy to use, and packed with features.

How deep can you take it when diving?

The Oregon Scientific Camera does a good job, and its waterproof.

I've seen it used many times on motorcycles.
prices from 79.00

The camera is waterproof up to 100 feet.

The cool part about the camera is the small size and the available mounts for it. For diving I just use the chest mount. The wide angle lens is really nice also and allows you to capture a whole person at close proximity. Check out their site and view the surf video.

Man this is going to be sweet. I got mine today and have been messing around with it. I got the mount on the front of the yak already. It really does take some truly sweet video, and with the wide angle lense, I can get me, and the fish in the shot. I can't wait to use it Saturday
