What Color Kayak Works Best
Is there a Better Color Kayak? One that seems not to spook the fish as much? Or is it best not to get hit by boats with props? thanks |

Hey Merf
I don't think it matters at all to the fish, buy the one ya like! Every color seems to work just look at the photos!

I think yellow kayaks attract more sea lions. I had a yellow kayak for about two years and sea lions would steal bait from me often. I even hooked a sea lion. I switched to a green kayak and had it for over a year and I think I only lost one bait to a sea lion. Both colors catch fish.

I think it's the color on the water that matters, on your rack or in the store is just for show.

I got yellow for visibility, so I will be seen by boats.

Thanks. I appreciate the input.
I guess I was thinking to much into it. |
