Tsunami Preparedness
Those of you who have youngsters may find this entertaining. My 5 year old daughters enjoy it. I finished a project for the County of San Diego in September and it was just released last Thursday. My company did all the animation and post work. The story was written by the County and lead voice over is by David Leisure (of Joe Isuzu fame). This was done on an extremely small budget so it doesn't have the depth of a Pixar short. Its a 7 minute 3D animated short with talking crabs discussing how tsunamis occur and how to prepare for them. It's slated to be delivered to all the schools within 2 miles of the entire California coast. It's not Oscar worthy, but someone might enjoy it. It can be found on the San Diego County Office of Emergency Services web site here. http://www.sdcounty.ca.gov/oes/ready/kids/

Cool Vid. A couple of years ago I was fishing in dp and my wife called me and asked if I had just felt the earthquake. About that same time I started to hear some sort of air horn from shore, kinda sounded like an air-raid siren. I wasn't sure what to do, so I just kept fishing. Pretty freaky though. |

Very informative.
Thanks for sharing. I'm sure my kids will get a kick out of it.

Nice work Dave. You should translate that into Thai, Malay and Indonesian to provide a little tsunami education for that part of the world.
Well done.
