6 pack mothership Cat/offshore
Talking to a neighbor who is just starting charters on the "Rebel". 6 people $175 flexible day starting at the island at first light and giving it until 9 to produce, then looking for YFT, marlin, yellowtail, and dorado from the boat with hopes of finding super fishy conditions to drop the yaks in open water. Departing Huntington Harbor at 3 AM and returning late in the day. big swim step across the stern, plenty of room on the bow for the yaks. There is one spot left to fill. depending on the outcome another may be booked in early October.

That's a real nice boat to strap a yak to --at least mine. Why not just fish from deck? It would be a pleasure.

Trip
Andy,
Good luck on your mothership trip. Sounds like a great time and you will be at location at grey light. Hopefully more trips will become available. Jimmy |

Do we keep catching fish from the deck of the boat or do we put the kayaks in ahead of the porps and catch even more? hmmmm? I'm stoked to be going on this boat...only six kayaks, so we can hit and run quickly no doubt! That's what I am talking about. |

Trip is full and going. First light fishing the island, then searching the big blue. Kayaks may never leave the bow after we leave the island........or John may be tossed into his yak with a greenback ready to paddle up on a sleeping marlin
