finding current
Hello fellow kayak anglers. I tried searching the forum and couldn't find anything. Besides layed down kelp, how do you determine if there is sufficient current in an area?

Watch the tides and wind?
If i planned fishing around perfect conditions id never fish. Sometimes in the right spot at the right time... not the prefect time. Wishing i was fishing. |

Trust me, I fish when I can fish. I just always hear people talking about current, finding current. I'm always trying to learn more about my surroundings while on the water. Wondering why some spots have more current than others and how to identify it besides the obvious sign and the only one that i'm really aware of , when you can visibly see kelp laying down.
