Garmin striker plus 4 user info please

What is their dual beam transducer frequency? I can’t seem to find the answer on the ‘net. I’d appreciate if you can help. And does this unit adequate for deeper ocean water?
Thank you in advance!

Someone can correct me but I believe it has 77 kHz which is ideal for deeper water.

So far what I found is that it comes with dual beam transducer 77/200 kHz
I wasn’t sure if that’s low enough frequency.
Is there a much of a difference between 50 kHz and 77khz?
Thank you Chris!

why is the lower frequency better for deeper water? It seems to me that at 200' you would get a better image of the bottom with the higher frequency. What am I not understanding?

I’m no expert but just what I’ve been reading is that lower the frequency it packs more power to penetrate through deeper water but it has less details.
Just wanted to hear from actual user who used it in the ocean to see if 77khz was adequate for ocean.
It a eems mid chirp or 77-83khz is adequate from what I’ve been reading up and searching from the web.
