05/29 night La Jolla straight north.

The surf was so great that I went back a second time loaded up on dinner and went straight back out. This time I went straight up to pier to make bait found some large mackerel to work with. Kept going north until I was in legal waters. Trolled along the beach using a three way dropper and a Carolina rig with the mackerel, no bites continued out little deeper to 60ft. Up north is very shallow and was my first time fishing up that way definitely a little different. Fished in to dark trolled the mackerel into the deep on the edge of restricted area. Saw some
Schools of bait fish with no birds or pressure used a iron with some glow but no bites.

It’s so nice out there after dark. Keep it up and you’ll be seeing ghosts.

This mans a straight beast! A single day kicks my ass for a week. Now he’s doing 2 trips a day? Just bring a rail mounted bbq, catch and grill and keep going.
