Dana with Team Pinnacle 5/7

Fished Dana with Gilbert, Joe, and Scott on Saturday great time guys thanks. The wind was blowing hard out of the south at sunrise. Since the only kayak I can load on the van so far is my Caper I decided to stay in the harbor. As we paddled out to the mouth I noticed the wind was still stong and as we got to the mouth of the harbor my desire over rode and out I headed into the wind and swell curned waters heade out and south.

Found one of my favorite areas and started throwing the 3 1/2 Reebs Razorbacks on the 3/8 Cottee heads COVERED IN UNI BUTTER.

The drift was pretty fast though the fishing was hot for me fished for 4 hrs in the washing machine this is what it looked like when we got back to Dana Jet Ski and Kayak(great place, the owner Tim took great care of us Thanks)

This fish came up hard and as it got to the surface a second larger calico took the Razorback of the hook and darted away

If you look in the lower right corner of this underwater shotyou can see the batray I fought under the kelp that was tangled arround my 8lb. Hard fight given the wind on top of the weight.

The rest of the Pics are some of the 16 Calicos I caught on Saturday.

The PASSION and I are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
