10/4 CRAWLERS

Usual Friday Bugging! Super late crawl for me, around 10:30 one set of 5 hoops yielded 5 keeps, including these two 3+ lbers! Took the bigger down to Anglers Arsenal to way for the Promar Big bug turney. Current leader is 4lbs for October.

Still some nice quality tails.

A contest?

Had twins weighing in over 4.5 lbs.

Nice haul.

nice going. What is this big bug tourney that you speak of, and is it kayaks only or are boats allowed to join the tournament?

Research shows lobster mate with similar size lobsters, and we know that the females don't typically get as large as the males, thus throws the whole Bugzilla mating myth out the window.

I keep em all, notice no difference in taste, and the DFG has the size limit down to a science in order to keep the population healthy.

If anything i think 7 bugs a day is a little xtreme because of the loop holes in the gifting idea.

I think it's crazy a commercial guy can catch 700lbs In one night, ships them halfway across the world and no one bats an eye.
