Catch
I usually release all my fish unless we’re planing on trout for dinner a couple of nights...or if I catch one of those big pink meat stockers...
I had to keep this guy since he sucked the bait down and was bleeding...they usually get hooked on the edge of the mouth with the HUBs... ...So...my neighbor ate good tonight...LOL In the other photo...the difference in the colors and contrast of the reflected hillside on the water at sunset was pretty cool... http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/a...1&d=1563080800 http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/a...1&d=1563081041

I’m using a small spinning reel with 8 pound PowerPro attached to a really small barrel swivel then about 3 feet of 4 pound blue label flouro...then the HUB,
I’m trolling the 1/16 black gold about 75’ back and using another set up with a 1/32 HUB in the hand and constantly jigging it...i usually get bit as it’s dropping back on the jigging action...I miss a lot of bites...LOL

No pics
I set some crawfish traps last night and checked em today...a few had about 12 to 15 Crawdads so I’m letting them soak another night.
Fishing was WFO this morning during the hatch...it looked like fog so many critters were hatching and the trout of all sizes were jumping all over in front of Rush Creek...I C & Rd a few before the sun hit it and the show was over... The downrigger didn’t produce today... I did manage a 3.5 pounder this afternoon at the upper end of the lake... He was invited to dinner...LOL http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/a...1&d=1563248479 http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/a...1&d=1563249115 http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/a...1&d=1563249595 http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/a...1&d=1563249659 http://www.bigwatersedge.com/bwevb/a...1&d=1563249743
