Tarp sun cover OK for outside storage?
Hi all,
Keeping the yak outside on a rack. Inside is not an option.K to simply cover it with a plastic tarp, directly on top of the yak? Other outside options? I've looked into putting a roof on top of the rack but that only deal with the sun when it's directly overhead and that would also prevent me from working in the yak as it sits on the rack. Thanks, Jon |

I will wear out the bottom of any kayak before the sun destroys it.
Ya a cover should work. Look for a place in the yard with the most shade. One note on outside storge, always check for spiders as they will climb to the highest point on the water, which is you. Last edited by ctfphoto; 07-06-2019 at 11:27 AM. |
