Took a friend out today in the kayak. Launched out of Dana Point, got bait and headed north towards Salt Creek. Water seems to be clearing up but it was still cool at 58 degrees. Took some searching but finally found a group of hungry Calico bass, two legals and several shorts. Had a couple of larger strikes but the hook failed to catch. Beautiful weather though.
