FJ Cruiser roof rack?

Any of you guys have an FJ? I'm gonna buy one soon and I'm not sure about the factory rack. I've seen a couple FJ's with yaks on top at a PN tourney. Just need some info on a good rack system to transport two 15-16 foot yaks.

That's my ride! You'll love it. I don't have a rack but I'll be watching to see what you come up with! Good luck.

You can try yakima.com, than go to rig my vehicle for specific mounts, they have clamps that fit the large tubes you have on your FJ to mount yakima racks & brackets good luck..... H

Charles, if you get the fj...make sure you get 4x4 w/ TRD package WITH the LOCKING REAR DIFF!!!!

fwiw- most salesman don't know dick about 4x4 and the different options avail! Do yourself a favor and know exactly which options are avail & what you want. Trust me.

If you need any help let me know...I can help you with aftermarket stuff too...

Also, everyone I know who has an FJ loves them!
They are a pretty darn capable vehicle. Very impressive. $.02

That's exactly what I'm getting Cabo. Primarily for Baja. I'm tired of putting all the weight over my only spinning tire on my 2wd F150 to keep from sliding out in the dirt.

Looks like the Factory roof rack with a Thule 830 stacker might work great for more than one yak. The Thule hullavator looks cool, but I'm not sure if it's gonna work for two yaks though.

With the kayak stacker I can run with 4 kayaks no problem.
heck, I took three large kayaks to BOLA...your only limit is the width of your bars. I recomend a nose teather too...

When you get yer FJ...I can show you to some kewl 4x4 places to fish.
