Winter Bones

We fished for some "last of this season" Rockfish yesterday and took home some nice Reds and Chuckleheads.
I may get out one more time on New Years eve day to get a few more delicious rockfish for the freezer. Damn winds are so hard to predict right now...
The surprise of the day was when some Bones blew up on the Daisy chain and also bit the Rapallas...I was sure they had bugged out and were headed to warmer waters down south...they weren't big but I'll make some poke and spicy tuna out of these little guys...

Since the Bones popped up again, I may have to get out on New Years day to try and get my first "tuna" of the year
There's lots of squid in and around the canyon...the fish were spitting up fresh pieces when they came on the boat...maybe it will get some trophy fish to show up while the Rockfish is shut down.

I better get a new fishing license today...so I can get my full 365 days of use and value...LOL
