Going to see the "Man".
I have been invited to go to Bahia Asuncion by the "Man" himself. Rossman that is. After an overnight stay in San Felipe to split the travel time, I am passing Gonzaga Bay Via Coco's corner and on to Bahia Asuncion. Leaving Los Angeles on October 3rd and leaving Bahia Asuncion on the 11th for another stay in San Felipe. As of now this will be a solo trip. A full repot and lots of picture to follow after the trip. Time to brush up on my Spanish. |

I plan on leaving Friday, Oct 5th to Asuncion and staying until Monday afternoon, then I'm off to Abreojos through Sat. See you there!

Check to see how the roads are before you leave. Hurricane Rosa is making landfall tonight and bringing some heavy rainfall and wind through the Gonzaga area. There is also another weather system on it's tail I believe. Keep an eye out.

Thanks for the heads up and concern.
We decided to go south via Federal HWY 1 instead of 5, to avoid the dirt road passing through Coco's Corner. On the way back on the 11th, if there has been no more rain, we may take the 5 through Coco's Corner. There some huge sink holes, but we hope not on HWY 1. Regardless it is going to be an adventure. |

Keep a eye out for hurricane Sergio. No reason not to go but you might get some weather.

Thanks.
We cancelled the trip. I might go for the Thanksgiving trip, depending on road repairs. |
