This site is pretty much dead for reports, just sales and tournament advertisements.

La jolla recently
Been going out there saturdays for the past 3 weeks, havent seen anyone land anything decent on a kayak or boat.
Last saturday, heard of one guy catching a 38" halibut and one other with a 40 lb yellow when i came back in, but other than that, no other action. When i was out on the water, bass was going crazy. Saw a school of sardines travelling fast and jumping clear out of the water being chased by something....either seal, bonito, or yellowtail.that happened 3 or 4 times before i decided to tie on a colt sniper but by then, didnt see any more breezers Talked to a few divers who rreported seeing a whole bunch of 2-3 lb baby yellows but no big'uns. Will be out there again this saturday

Those were most likely not baby yellows. Probably the bigger jacks
