From my perspective: I love the pa 12 and if I can only have one it would be a PA. That said I have talked a lot of buddies in to buying one, around 6-7 of them in the past few years. Nearly all of them end up selling (or me selling for them). The main reason is it's a lot of kayak off the water... on the water it's great but getting it there is what drives a lot of people away.

I'm kinda digging the revo or outback myself. I love how the PA fishes though. Its a beast of a boat though.....

If I had a truck, and a place to park a loaded trailer, I'd buy a PA in a hot minute.
But I don't, and I don't, so its a smaller boat out of necessity for me. |

When I used to car top my smaller paddle kayaks they were more of a hassle than my PA 14 on a trailer. So yes you need a truck or a trailer. I prefer my PA and trailer than car topping. Some people don't have either and figure it out too late so they are forced to sell.
Also the main reason you see so many for sale it's because it is a popular kayak. You see them out on the water more than anything else.

I have 2 Pro Anglers and unfortunately with a busy schedule (kids sports) I don’t get out as much as I wish. I live in Rancho Cucamonga area too so it’s a bit of a trek to get out there early enough.
