WTB SOT Fishing Kayak

Looking to get my son a yak to join me out harbor fishing and also just offshore stuff. Budget around $300, I'd like it to be fishing ready if possible i.e. rod holders, seat, paddle. SOT only. LMK what you have.

9' okay for harbor but I wouldn't take it offshore my $.02

Going to post up an Ocean Prowler Big Game II soon, but will be for a bit more than your $300 range. If your budget goes up and you're interested send me a PM.

For sure. Yeah the options are better for a 12’ or 14’ kayak in open water but to each his own- my cousins friend spearfishes off a 9’ Malibu stealth.

$300 budget is a tough window to fit into for a 12'+ boat that's a stable platform and seaworthy.

My .02 is to wait a little longer, save up some more cash, and see what guys are off-loading when the holidays start rolling around...
