Long Beach Grab Bag 9.10.17
Had one of those days on the water with a fishing buddy. Fished out of a double sit inside kayak. This was our third trip to Queensway Bay and we left em' biting on the first two. We launched around 5:45 and off around 2pm. Long day but worth it. We caught Croaker, Halibut, Sandbass, Calicos and I landed a bonita busting bait near a dock. Close to 30 fish total. My buddy caught a 20"+ sandbass. Not sure how much it weighed but put up a good fight. All fish released. Lost a few big ones which will keep us coming back for more. Most fish were caught on 3" hammers, MC swimbaits on lead heads or a missle baits shockwave on a ball head in reds and chartreuse colors. Scents made a difference also. Tight Lines

I've wanted to fish Long Beach but don't know where to launch. Where do you launch and what is the launch like?

I have also been wanting to hit LBC and will try and go either this Sat or Sun. PM if you want to meet up. I have to look up where to launch from as I remember seeing several posts some time back.

We launched at south shore launch ramp. Cost is $12 for 24hrs. You can also beach launch at the Alamitos volleyball courts. See you out there.
