Who is the Winner?
The father of five children had won a toy at a raffle.
He called his kids together to ask which one should have the present.
"Who is the most obedient?" he asked.
"Who never talks back to mother? and
"Who does everything mother says?"
Five small voices replied in unison. "Okay daddy! You get the toy."

Father Pike taught me to fish when I was knee high to a grasshopper. We used to rope up fat dace in the river behind my house. Spent the best of my tender years exploring the woods for new trout streams.

He's still a champion trout hugger in the New England woods, and he only fishes dry flies now.

Here's to Dad!

My dad did not know how to fish, even though his was born and raised in Istanbul, Turkey, which is surrounded by water.

He did love to travel and was very inquisitive and paid attention to details. Something that instilled in me.

However, the best thing he thought me was to be an honest person.

Happy father's day to all that applies.
