Did it cost you anything to fill out the forms and get the process started?

YES. I procrastinated for a year now, them had to hand over $25.00 so no gas money this week. Only took about 1/2 hour to do it. Guess I'll just have to go to Baja NEXT week. Happy Holidays.

In May the weather is warming up, by the end of June it is getting hot. Bass, cabrilla, corvina, snapper, sierra, grouper. Tight Lines, and Happy Holidays.

Good on you Bob. It only took like 30 years? I know it was not available then.
Now all of your riders have to have one too. How about a Sentri trip or party?? So far I am aware of; Mr. Pukashell, Yakdout, Makobob, Defjack, Mahigeer, Sivak Who else? |

I went through this website https://goes-app.cbp.dhs.gov/goes/jsp/login.jsp
Cost me $100.00 to fill out and file the paperwork. This included me in the "Trusted Traveler" program. I get Pre TSA check on flights, SENTRI and the card. I did take all of the requested paperwork but they did not ask for any of it. I would have it just in case. If you have sent in your paperwork go to the website and check the status. If they have accepted your paperwork you will get to schedule your appointment. Make sure you check all of the locations for appointment dates. Will let you know whey I get my card |

Hashem, your list of stuff is a little long. This is what you need, add to the list registration and insurance for the vehicle you enrolled and that should do it. Got my card in the mail last week. I |

Here is what I found on the website for Sentri.
"The SENTRI pass interview is held at one of the enrollment centers. The object is to explain the rules of the SENTRI pass program to you and take your fingerprints and a photograph. You must take the original ID documents submitted with your application – these will all be verified against your application form. IVT will instruct you on what to take. You will need to provide: your US citizenship or legal immigration status a valid driver’s license from the US state where you lives your vehicle registration and documentation for legal US car insurance a notarized letter authorizing your vehicles use if it is not owned by you e.g. if it is owned by your company you must produce a letter of authorization on your company’s letterhead details of your employment or your financial support (e.g. your recent tax return, a salary slip or if you are self employed your business license, tax information and bank statements) proof of your address e.g. a mortgage statement, ownership deeds or a rent receipt You will be informed at your SENTRI interview whether or not you have been accepted into the SENTRI card program. Your fingerprints will be taken digitally – this is an ink free process. Your photograph will be taken for your SENTRI card and the border officials will explain the program and answer any of your questions. Your SENTRI card will be sent to you by mail around 10 days later." |

Get one - Once you have it you'll be glad you went through the hassle the very first time you cross the border with it - In 10 years since I've had it my average border wait crossing north has been 15 minutes, with more than one crossing taking less than 2 minutes, last trip up from Bob's place was 6 minutes...
