LJ Report 7-16

Launched with my cousin just before gray light. Lighter crowd than expected on the beach. Making bait was challenging, caught 6 macs (mixed) and noticed a number of SB’s and yaks directly north of the condo…fishing in about 70’ water. Didn’t see any bendos or that WO bite as we approached

Not wanting to hang out with the flotilla, we headed east past the NW corner. Found 90’ water and saw some marks in about 75’-80’ water. Got my rev dropper loop ready and by the time I attached my weight and pinned on a mac, my FF screen was clear. Decided to give it a try anyway. Dropped to the bottom, cranked 5 times, and within 5 min….BOOM! Surface water temp was 73-74. Wind started picking up around 9’ish, but it was a beautiful morning. In the end, it’s just luck, being in the right place at the right time.

This report is actually from yesterday (Sunday), 7/17. But, I couldn't figure out how to change the title after I posted it.

It will come in time . Did you go for revenge a second day in a row ? I'm not one to post , unless of corse I break my poundage record .
