My inner angel prevailed & I strapped him up n pulled him out. Older gentlemen. Nice guy. Freakn sucks how times have changed. Lifeguards sayin they can't help cause of liability issues... Another LG said he couldn't even help jump start somebodys car the other night... This is why I go to the water. To get away from all the bullchit... And a kayak is one of the best ways. Good day all. Headed to MB jettys now... Good thing I stopped by lj for a bit, saw some nice tail & helped a guy out...

Does a Prius even have a good recovery point?! I don't think I have a small enough shackle for one of those passanger car tie down loops. Good on ya for the rescue.

Under the rear bumper, driver side, there was a tow eye. Too small for my tow strap so I used a master lock to attach the tow strap to the prius tow eye... Worked flawless. Except for the old man not braking once i got him out. Reversed right into my Ram. Didnt even leave a mark, his bumper did have a good dent in it though.
