I just got my first Lucky Tackle Box - Inshore and it's got a couple of nice lures that look like they'll work. Not so sure about the Title Shot Spoon, but I'll give it a shot and see if I can get anything with it. The same for the white V&M Ultimate Saltwater Bait. Not sure what it kind of bait fish it would imitate here, but it's worth a shot to see if it'll scare up a bass or two.
It does look as though it's mostly geared for East Coast style of fishing, but fish are fish and what works there could very possibly work here. I went for the 3 month subscription to see if I liked it. If it's good stuff, I'll keep going. if not, I'll try Mystery Tackle Box next.

Thanks for the intel, I think I may have to give them a try too. I have a Cobia jig I use when in Destin Fl. and the dodo's here inhale it. Thanks again.

Yeah I did and I also did Mystery TB..cancelled both found out it was more for lakes and Florida than trying to chase around

My friend gave me a 6 month subscription to Lucky Tackle Box.
It is interesting to see what was included in each box. Some stuff is brand name, most is not. It forced me to try new things/colors that I would not have picked out myself. Towards the end of my subscription they neglected to ship one month. It took some follow up to get them to honor that shipment. During one of the correspondences they said they had run out of a certain item in the box and that is why it did not ship on time. I became suspicious that had I not noticed and followed up multiple times if it ever would have shipped. |

Looks like SA just started a tackle box subscription. Seems like a good deal for the $40 plan just for the apparel, even if you toss the freshwater bass plastics. http://safishing.com/tackleup/

Question...., if there was a west coast based company that offered lures, baits and other items that were specifically for our waters, would you choose that over Lucky Tackle Box, Mystery Tackle Box or some of the others? While I like some of the things that are in those other boxes, they seem to be geared mostly for redfish, snook, tarpon, etc..., with only a few items that would be able to be used of use here.
If an Inshore Box had items from Lucky Craft, Warbaits, Owner Hooks, MC Swimbaits, etc...., then that would really be worth subscribing to. West coast fishing tackle made by local companies. I'd subscribe to that!
