Gotta pick your days. Too many nice days in socal to take a chance when conditions are iffy. This video shows how fast things can go south. Add cold water and fatigue and not cool. Think he would have been better off getting on the yak first and then gathering up all his stuff.

Should have seen my launch at 4:30 in front of the restrooms on Sat. Much better than coffee when you have not slept much.

People need to learn when you roll your yak out in the surf, get on the side of your yak facing the wave so you don't get hit the head with the yak. Its not fun I had that happen to me once, lesson learned.
