I've spent soooooo much time on the 395, in fact I remember the 395 all the way from San Diego before the 15. Grew up stream trout fishing. Got too good at it I stopped. Spent the next 35 years wandering around the High Sierra and other wild places in pursuit of my dream.

I love the big valley but always ended up in the higher more "scenic" places

Now here's some great trout fishing ..... For reference, Mammoth Mountain is in the background .....

June Lake loop - 395

I have been going to the Loop since I was 4 trout fishing. Beautiful area and great fishing.

i have logged 100's of days up there fishing, hiking, backpacking, snowboarding and climbing. he was fishing mcgee creek, upper ownes and the gorge. you gotta hit the runs to get the hogs.

That video was a nice trip down the Owens. I always liked the Hot Creek area near Mammoth in the winter or fall.
Ill be here on Rush Creek the last week in May..
